Hippocastanaceae

The Hippocastanaceae is a small family, with the most widespread genus Aesculus (the horsechestnuts), which today is taken to include Pavia (the buckeyes). However, the American genus Billia and the Chinese genus Handeliodendron should also be members of the family.
